Oba Femi got the better of Bronson Reed at WWE Money in the Bank on October 10, 2026. Reed kicked out of a Tsunami before Femi secured the pinfall victory.

Ahead of the match, Reed said he brought the same mindset from his bout with Roman Reigns into the contest. He came in with a determined approach and made no secret of it. He also addressed fan criticism over his weight loss, saying it had not taken anything away from him in the ring. Reed was firm that his body transformation had not slowed him down between the ropes.
