Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen is in the news again as a new film, The Social Reckoning, reaches cinemas and streamers. Starring Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White, the film dramatises her decision to bring hidden documents to light.
Haugen told reporters she has "extreme worry" about a culture shift at Meta and believes Zuckerberg is taking dangerous risks with AI. She said she hopes the film moves others to come forward, telling The Verge she wants it to give others the courage to go public.
