The Las Vegas Aces dropped a narrow game 83-81 to the Golden State Valkyries on Oct. 9 in a WNBA semifinal, with the series continuing beyond this game. Guard Jackie Young stood out for her hustle as she worked to help the Aces get back in the game, according to ESPN coverage.
A'ja Wilson broke a long-standing record during the game, surpassing Diana Taurasi's WNBA playoff scoring record and adding another storyline to the night. The Aces now find themselves under pressure to even the series after the close loss. Both teams know the stakes heading forward.
