Melbourne United defeated South East Melbourne Phoenix in the NBL Melbourne derby on October 10, clawing back from a 15-point deficit to take the points. The game shaped up as a dramatic Throwdown thriller that had the crowd gripped.

Oduro wrapped up the win with a double-double, delivering a standout performance when it mattered most. It was the kind of hard-fought victory that gives a rivalry real bite.

In other NBL action on the same night, the Perth Wildcats took on the New Zealand Breakers in a separate fixture.
