The Ohio State University Dining Services oversees operations across the Columbus campus and regional campuses, managing over 40 on-campus dining venues, including dining halls like Traditions, casual eateries such as Sloopy's Diner, and campus cafés. Their workforce consists of a large number of staff, who are integral to the daily functioning of the dining services. In addition to their day-to-day operations, Dining Services also conducts educational programs, including behind-the-scenes briefings for university leadership and facility tours, such as the instructional kitchen in the Ohio Union.

As was mentioned previously, the Missed Meal Factor has risen to 8.3%0; much of this statistic can be attributed to the vanishing visits. Collectively, students lose thousands of dollars in value every week because using all of their visits at Traditions locations is inconvenient and, for many, impossible.
